Historical Walking Tour Recordings - The Friends of Putnam Park has created a historical walking tour that is narrated by community members. The tour consists of 9 narrated stops beginning at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and finishing at the end of Putnam Drive. The videos and a map are listed under this websites "History" tab and a printable brochure for the tour can be found here XXX. Hope you enjoy getting a taste of the history of Putnam Park from this walking tour!

Friends of Putnam Park has joined the Amazing Eau Claire Cean Up and would love your help!
If you would like to participate, send an email to Tim Hirsch (hirschk-t@charter.net) to let him know approximately when you would like to start-- any time between 9:00 and Noon, Saturday, April 25.
When you are ready to work, please stop by the Starting Station at 1744 Coolidge Court to pick up your supplies, your official "Amazing Eau Claire Cean Up" T-Shirt, and information about your designated area to work.

Friends of Putnam Park General Membership Meeting - The FOPP GMM will take place on July 18th from 10 am to Noon in the Riverveiw Room LE Phillips Public Library in Eau Claire. Our guest speaker will be retired UWEC Biology professor Dr. Dave Lonzarich who will speak about fish of the Chippewa River. All are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
